History

That's how it all started...
Erfinder August Belz

The SAPOR® dry soap dispenser principle was invented by the Swiss razor blade manufacturer August Belz (1907-1971), produced in the following years and sold worldwide under the brand name Sapor.

Trockenseifenspender 1947

In 1947, August Belz had the idea of pressing soap bars into bars for a dry soap dispenser. Dry soap could be scraped off as a powder by turning a handwheel.

Erfolg

The Sapor® dry soap dispensers replaced the soap dispensers, which have been popularly known in restaurants and companies since around 1920, also known as the so-called Schiffel dispenser on the market. The reason for this was the excellent dosing option, the yield and temperature-independent use of the Sapor® dry soap.

sapor Heute

Even today, the Sapor® dry soap dispensers are used in public washrooms, schools, municipalities and railways.

Now we are also developing solutions for grating soap for at home or on the go like the pocket soap dispenser Sapolino, our grater for solid dishwashing detergent Saponetta or the small all-rounder saponaut for the sink or shower.

We like it flaky!
